I call this one a cunning fox – and for good reason.
When I created this fox, I was working with the idea of being able to see more than one usually can. The 5 eyes give it an almost watchful gaze, as if it's always one step ahead. It doesn't just look at you – it sees right through you.
I intentionally worked with the classic fox character but gave it a twist. It is both recognizable and different at the same time. It has something sly about it, but also something calm and observant. One that doesn't make a fuss – but always knows what's going on.
The fox is handmade from recycled materials because I enjoy giving new life to what already exists. This also means that every single fox gets its own expression and its own story – no two are exactly alike.
For me, this is not just a decoration, but a little creature on the wall with its own personality. One that keeps an eye on things. And perhaps knows a little more than it should.
