3-eyed raven - handmade creature in recycled materials

This raven is a cunning one. Not the noisy type – but the quiet observer who notices what others overlook.

When I created it, I had an idea of a creature that could see beyond the immediate. The third eye gives it an extra layer – as if it sees the world, what lies behind it, and perhaps even a little into you. It has something almost human in its gaze, and at the same time something entirely alien.

As is often the case with my figures, the materials are mainly recycled. I like the idea of forming something new out of something that has already had a life – and letting it have a completely new story. It also gives the raven its own expression, with small imperfections and details that I deliberately leave visible.

I have worked with the contrast between the raw and the simple – the matte, organic surface against the clear gaze in its eyes and the small metallic details that hint at something almost ritualistic.

For me, it’s not just a raven, but a small creature on the wall. One who watches. One who knows something.
